Sunbowl was launched in the winter of 2009 by the following talented, quirky, and savvy members who joined forces to make this powerhouse team.

John began his business career as just another suit in the boardrooms of Bay Street, Toronto. While in Ontario, he also taught skiing and became a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol. He eventually left the rat race of the “T-dot” to pursue his passion for skiing and the great outdoors at Whistler. He spent his early years skiing, mountain biking, working with atomic skis on Whistler Mountain and as a certified mountain bike coach in the summer months. After a year, John shipped off his collection of city suits and shoes to a charitable organization in the Philippines, and officially declared himself a permanent resident of BC. He is now a successful entrepreneur, with over twenty years of business experience, who still skis and bikes whenever he can.

An avid outdoorsman, camper, hiker, cyclist ,and skier, Jody has over thirteen years of commercial, internet technology experience, specializing in web design and computer efficiency. He is a born and bred Whistlerite with a background in large and small computer networking, graphic design, photography, and relational databases. Jody's current role with Sunbowl is all about technology, implementation, research and support, and he enjoys demonstrating to people how new technology can improve their lives.
Erin Anderson, Creative Director

Erin began her Whistler career in 1994 when she assisted in the launch and growth of Origin Design + Communications. She worked as both an Account Manager and Graphic Designer and made a niche for herself in the local market. Erin helped to create a successful Olympic Bid Book while working with the Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation as their creative leader and graphic designer. Erin’s inspiration for her work is derived from her passion for skiing, mountain biking, swimming, and playing in the great outdoors. She is the mother of two fabulous kids and tries to find balance through yoga and developing her passion for art. A piece of her heart will always live at about 3,300 metres high, in the Khumbu, where she spent several years leading groups into the Himalaya.
Kyle Treleaven, Operations Manager

Kyle’s experience in website usability, online marketing, advertising, search engine optimization, and online social networking make him invaluable to the Sunbowl team. He studied at Camosun College on Vancouver Island, spent two years as Chief Community Officer for the colonies.com network, and ran snowboard.com for six years. A rare Whistler native, Kyle spends his free time mountain biking, surfing, and playing guitar.
